I also have a great respect for the
noble guitars of Manuel Hernandez and
Victoriano Aguado, who operated out of
a tiny workshop in the antique quarter
of Madrid, their best period being from
the early '60's through to the early
'70's, when Aguado retired.
H y A instruments, I feel, are the
most beautifully elegant guitars both
in appearance and sound, and they
represent the pinnacle of Spanish
guitar making in it's most traditional
form.
